Greetings, all, and welcome to my blog.
If this is your first time here, hey! This post really isn’t the greatest – it was my very first, you know, so be patient? Go try this one if you want something silly, or this one if you want something more serious. If you’re interested in my current project, you need to check out The List. If you really want to get a taste of this blog, I guess your best bet is my Blogiversary Extravaganza.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am the Reverend Doctor Tyler J. Yoder. I got the titles through a dodgy internet deal years ago. At any rate, I am a poet chasing publication, an amateur taxidermist, and a devotee of Dorothy Parker. I’m a rogue, dreamer, vagabond, and seeker of new experiences. I like to think that I allow other folk to see things in a new way.
I’ve started this blog because, evidently, it is absolutely impossible to get anywhere anymore in the world of writing and publication without having a damned blog. Further, it will force me to write more often, and more prose; I think that that’s a worthy goal. I’m currently working on a book of modern etiquette for the ridiculous situations in which we find ourselves, these days.
I think that if you look at every thing with a sense of wonder, the mundane sublimates into something much more interesting. At least, that’s how I try to live my life – one has to keep oneself amused somehow, after all.
I think that you probably get the point, by now. Fear not, Gentle Reader; there’s more where that came from.
