Poetic Interlude LVI

Yet another guest post by my Dad. Go figure.

Sometimes I am afraid.
Not of death
for I know who I am
and what I’ve been.
I’m afraid of life for
Sometimes I don’t know
which way to turn.
The ones that depend on me to lead
have confidence, trust,
and believe.
I can’t show that I’m unsure.
So, I put on a mask and
don’t let them know that
very often I’m insecure.

About Ty DeLyte

Madame DeLyte has suffered a grave disappointment - YET AGAIN - and still believes that freedom, beauty, and truth are what's valuable, rather than vulgar cash. He'd add love to that list - but, well, what can he say about love?

Have something to say, darling? Don't be shy!
