The Adventures Themselves

The Reverend Doctor Tyler J. Yoder – sometimes known as Madame DeLyte – goes about having whimsical adventures as the long, proud, traditions of his family decree. As a poet and writer, he chronicles them here as best he can. As this blog has grown, we’ve expanded the definition of adventure to include flights of fancy and other musings, as well as whatever strange little romps my mind indulges in.

You’ll also find the Doctor’s thoughts on a number of topics, from etiquette to equality; from Sazeracs to suicide; from finding closure to bright new horizons. There is also some heavy-handed silliness that infects every aspect of this blog.

New posts come out Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, at cocktail hour – that is, 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, U. S.

Sundays, you’ll always get poetry, and if you miss some, it’s in a tab called “Poetic Interludes”. Tuesdays and Thursdays, you’re subject to whatever’s been happening recently in my life, detailed run-downs on any of several artistic projects of mine, my thoughts on pressing social matters, or flat-out nonsense. Trust me, you’re in for a wild ride, Gentle Reader, and I’m so pleased you’ve joined us.
